The work our volunteers have done throughout 2022 has been nothing short of life-saving. They turned grief into action to honor the lives of those taken in Buffalo, Uvalde, and communities in all 50 states. Because of them, we got Congress to pass a major gun safety law for the first time in nearly 30 years.
But they didn't stop there: They elected Gun Sense Champions up and down the ballot, ran for office themselves, flipped statehouses, passed laws to promote secure storage and fund violence intervention, and fought off several attempts by the gun industry and its allies to gut our gun laws.
