As your constituent, I ask you to show your support for HF 8 and SF 434, bills pending in the legislature that would expand background checks on gun sales. This common sense measure has the backing of most Minnesotans. According to polling done in 2018 by the Star Tribune, 9 in 10 Minnesotans support criminal background checks on all gun sales. So far, dozens of lawmakers are co-sponsoring the background check proposals, and I hope that you'll be supporting this effort.
