Everyday, Community Violence Interrupters help to mitigate gun violence in their communities through community-based strategies that utilize trauma-responsive care and interrupt cycles of violence.

Dear Representative,
I am a Minnesota resident writing to urge you to support funding for Community Violence Interrupters.
Community Violence Interrupters are intervention and prevention specialists with proven track records of lessening gun violence in our communities. We need to ensure we are doing everything we can to take steps towards ensuring public safety, and building relationships in communities that experience high rates of gun violence. Continuing to fund these programs will help Minnesotan communities feel safe from gun violence.
Please support funding in the House version of the omnibus public safety bill.
