In New Hampshire, 90% of all gun deaths are suicides. The NH Senate could soon vote on an extreme risk protection order (ERPO) bill that could save lives.
Thanks to gun sense supporters like you, the NH House of Representatives passed ERPO bill HB 687 on the first day of the 2020 session in January. We need to make sure our senators know to pass HB 687, too.

Dear Senator,
As your constituent, I urge you to support HB 687, an extreme risk protection order (ERPO) bill that the House of Representatives will soon send to the Senate.
In New Hampshire, 90% of all gun deaths are suicides; a New Hampshire resident dies by firearm suicide every four days. An ERPO law could save lives by temporarily removing firearms from dangerous situations.
ERPO laws can help prevent gun violence tragedies like gun suicides and mass shootings by giving loved ones and law enforcement who recognize dangerous warning signs a tool to prevent tragedies before they happen. By asking a court to temporarily restrict a person’s access to firearms, ERPO laws protect public safety while ensuring the due process rights of all involved. Research shows that ERPO laws are an effective way to prevent firearm suicide.
Please support a strong ERPO law in New Hampshire and pass HB 687.
