With the Supreme Court's dangerous Cargill decision—which legalized bump stocks in as many as 34 states—taking action at the state level to ban all kinds of rapid fire devices is more critical than ever.
Missouri doesn't have a law on the books prohibiting devices that turn semi-automatic weapons into machine guns. We need to ban rapid fire devices in our state.
Send your message NOW. Tell your Missouri lawmakers to ban rapid fire devices!
Dear Lawmaker,
I'm urging you to modify our state's current regulations on firearm accessories to include all rapid fire devices by passing SB 421.
Rapid fire devices allow shooters to convert semi-automatic weapons into machine guns—which have been illegal nationwide since 1986 and are illegal under Missouri state law.
Prohibiting machine guns while still allowing the sale, manufacture, and use of rapid fire devices is a dangerous loophole that puts Missourians' lives at risk. Our state already regulates other dangerous firearm devices, so it's time for us to join states like Florida and regulate rapid fire devices.
Again, I'm urging you to regulate rapid fire devices and pass SB 421. Thank you.
