Our nation is facing armed extremists in Washington and at state capitols across the country, and amidst all of this political unrest our state lawmakers are focused on trying to nullify federal law and tie the hands of our Missouri law enforcement officers.
SB 39 would prohibit Missouri law enforcement officers from assisting in the enforcement of certain federal public safety laws. Any state officer who did so would face a lawsuit for simply doing their job to keep our communities safe.
This would threaten public safety and penalize law enforcement for properly doing their jobs.
