Dear Senator,

I'm one of your constituents and I'm urging you to vote NO on SB 522.

SB 522 would require kids to be taught the Eddie Eagle GunSafe firearm training program and could even allow students to use actual guns and ammunition at school during the training course—posing a significant and immediate risk to our children.

There is no evidence to support that these programs keep our kids safe or reduce the likelihood that they will mishandle firearms in an unsupervised situation.
