On Tuesday, April 28 at 12 p.m. EDT, join Shannon Watts and Stacey Abrams for the first conversation in our new virtual series: "Demanding Women: Quarantine Conversations About Gun Violence."

For decades, women have been at the forefront of social justice and public safety issues, and this moment is no different. Over the course of our new series, Moms Demand Action Founder Shannon Watts will be speaking with leading women in American politics on how to demand a better, safer world for every person in the United States.

Her first conversation will be with Stacey Abrams on Tuesday, April 28 at 12 p.m. EDT. They'll be joined by John Yang, president and executive director of Asian Americans Advancing Justice - AAJC. Together, they'll discuss the disproportionate impact of gun violence and coronavirus on Black and brown communities and rising hate and racism experienced by the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities during the pandemic.

The series will be livestreamed on Facebook and Twitter.
