Right now, there are two gun safety bills moving in our state legislature that could help keep Minnesotans safer. These bills help ensure guns stay out of the wrong hands, by requiring secure firearm storage and reporting for lost or stolen firearms.
That means fewer unintentional shootings, fewer instances of illegal gun trafficking, and fewer firearm suicides.

Dear Lawmaker,
As your constituent, I urge you to vote YES on SF 4312 & SF 606.
SF 4312 would require gun owners to securely store their weapons. Whether we're preventing kids from unintentionally shooting a gun or making it harder for them to access these lethal weapons when they're in crisis, it's clear: Secure storage saves lives.
SF 606 would require firearms dealers and owners to report lost and stolen firearms. These laws have been shown to decrease illegal gun trafficking activity by 46%, when compared to states without such policies.
Both of these bills help keep guns out of the wrong hands. I urge you to support them.
Again, please vote YES on SF 4312 & SF 606. Thank you.
