From the event description: Join Senator Catherine Blakespear for a film screening of Run, Hide, Fight: Growing Up Under the Gun, a new documentary from PBS News Student Reporting Labs, followed by a panel discussion including film host Sarah Youssef, City Attorney Heather Ferbert, gun sales researcher Prof. Topher McDougal, San Diego Police Captain Bernie Colon, and Senator Blakespear. The panel will explore how gun violence is impacting our communities, and how to reduce and prevent gun violence through education, legislation and enforcement. PLEASE RSVP with the Senators office and with us, so that you secure your spot and we can know who plans to attend. Info tables and reception begins at 5:30; program begins at 6:30. Thank you!
