Newcomers and existing volunteers are invited for an informal, drop-in event at the park, 10:00-11:30am to discuss what Moms Demand Action is all about. Look for us at Shelter #4 (to the left and up the hill from the playground as you look up from the Turner St. parking lot). Current volunteers will be on hand to chat with folks who are interested in learning more about Moms Demand Action and our local NRV group. Kids are welcome! Join us for coffee, juice boxes, fun on the playground, and a chance to meet like-minded people and find out how you can be part of this grassroots movement to prevent gun violence at whatever level you have to offer.
