Illinois Lawmakers need to take action to better protect our communities from gun violence by passing The Protecting Illinois Communities Act.

This bill would prohibit the sale and possession of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, improve the state's Firearm Restraining Order law, and support law enforcement in tracking and investigating illegal firearms trafficking.
