Join us as we march in the annual Longmont Veteran's Day Parade, alongside other Longmont area gun violence prevention groups (UCC Longmont, Heart of Longmont, and the Longmont Community Foundation). We'll hand out free cable gun locks, candy, and Be SMART brochures to highlight the importance of secure firearm storage. The parade begins at Roosevelt Park at 11:11am and goes down Main Street. Please RSVP to receive our line-up information a few days before the parade. NO red shirts, please--this is a day for Be SMART teal and gray. Friends, family, and kiddos are welcome to join us too!
